Svanidze & The Partners as an independent corporation was established on February 6, 2003 when Tbilisi Krtsanisi-Mtatsminda District Court registered it as a legal entity. 
   Just several months before the day came several successful lawyers decided to team up and found the law firm. The decision has proved successful for the firm has granted the opportunity to several independent lawyers to combine their ideas and views within the frames of the law firm, which actually was the goal of its formation. 
   Unity of principal views and values was critical when the decision about the law firm was made and which were shared by all who joined to practice law in a joint firm.
   But before launching the law firm, each of the partners had acquired broad and rich experience of law practicing, especially Gocha Svanidze and David Vadachkoria who were in the lead of the field after the events unfolding in post-Soviet Georgia and in that challenging social-political situation that followed the collapse of the USSR. This was the period when the country was suffering from the deepest ever crisis of law culture and the two figures greatly contributed to the process of formation of new generation of lawyers in Georgia.
