Court of Appeal has reduced sentence against Zurab Chankotadze.
Yesterday, on December 30th Court of Appeal gave the judgjment against Zurab Chankotadze, ex-chief of Georgian Civil Aviation Department and reduced the sentence from 5 to 4 years of punishment. However, similarly to the lower court, the statement of reasons of the judgment delivered by the court of appeal is lacking any arguments proving the fault of Chankotadze. Defense is seeking the reversion of the case by the Supreme Court of Georgia. |
